Health and Nutrition
People & Environment Action (PEA) promotes access to essential health and nutrition services to improve community well-being, prevent disease, and reduce malnutrition among vulnerable populations.
People & Environment Action (PEA) implements integrated health and nutrition programs that improve access to quality healthcare services and strengthen the nutritional well-being of vulnerable communities. Our interventions focus on disease prevention, maternal and child health, nutrition support, community health awareness, and emergency health response services.
PEA supports health facilities and communities through nutrition screening, treatment referrals, health promotion campaigns, vaccination awareness, maternal and child health services, and community-based nutrition programs. We work to prevent and respond to malnutrition, communicable diseases, and public health emergencies while promoting healthy behaviors and improved healthcare access.
Our programs prioritize women, children, displaced populations, and underserved communities who face increased health and nutrition risks due to poverty, conflict, climate shocks, and limited access to essential services. Through community-centered and resilience-focused approaches, PEA contributes to healthier, safer, and more resilient communities across Ethiopia.
