Who We Are
People & Environment Action (PEA) is a nationally registered Civil Society Organization established under Ethiopia's Civil Society Organizations Proclamation No. 1113/2019 and officially registered under Certificate No. 7911.
PEA was founded in response to increasing humanitarian needs, environmental degradation, climate-related shocks, displacement, and socio-economic vulnerabilities affecting communities across Ethiopia.
Where We Work
PEA is designed to operate nationwide across Ethiopia while maintaining a strategic operational focus on the Somali Region, where humanitarian and environmental vulnerabilities remain significant.
The organization currently maintains field offices in Jigjiga and Dollo Ado, enabling effective field coordination, local engagement, and emergency response capacity.
