People & Environment Action (PEA) supports access to inclusive, safe, and quality education opportunities for children and vulnerable communities affected by emergencies, displacement, and poverty.
People & Environment Action (PEA) promotes access to quality and inclusive education for children, adolescents, and vulnerable groups in both humanitarian and development settings. Our education programs aim to improve learning opportunities, strengthen resilience, and create safe and supportive environments where children can learn and thrive.
PEA supports formal and non-formal education initiatives through school rehabilitation, temporary learning spaces, educational materials distribution, teacher support, child-friendly learning environments, and community awareness on the importance of education. We also promote equitable access to education for girls, displaced children, children with disabilities, and underserved communities.
Our interventions focus on improving school attendance, reducing barriers to education, strengthening community participation, and supporting emergency education responses during crises. Through community-centered and child-focused approaches, PEA contributes to building an educated, empowered, and resilient generation across Ethiopia.
